I have never had this much fun before! We came to Maui on a girls trip and were looking for something fun to do. After asking around, renting Black Rock EBikes was highly recommended so we booked electric bikes for the 5 of us for the day. We started in the morning and headed to Lahaina where we stopped and got coffee at Starbucks. We then went shopping at the Maui Outlets. Luckily we had backpacks to put things into. We ended our ride with a late lunch at Star Noodle. Exploring on these bikes was the highlight of my trip and my entire life! Can’t wait to do this again.

We went to Maui for our anniversary. We normally go every couple years and have done every activity offered on the island it seems. This last time we found something new to try out with Black Rock Electric Bikes. We have Ebikes at home and were excited to see that they were now available on Maui. We booked 4 hours to try one of their recommended tours and went from Kaanapali over to Honokowai and stopped at BadAss Coffee (which was incredible coffee) and sat on the bench at the beach park across the street. From there, we rode to Kapalua and tried their other recommendation of the Burger Shack for lunch. It could quite possibly be the best place to have lunch on the island. I was blown away by both the views and the quality of food. We will definitely do this again next time we come. We stumbled across Black Rock E-Bikes when we went to dinner at Whalers Village one evening. After speaking with Trevor (who was super friendly and knowledgeable), we booked electric bikes for the next day. We booked 4 hours which gave us enough time to explore the Kaanapali area and then grab a sandwich from the food court at Whalers Village and take it up to the Coffee Farms to have a picnic. The views up there were amazing! We could see Molokai, Lanai and even whales breaching out in the ocean. This was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation and will do it again when we return.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I would be comfortable on an electric bike. After sitting on a Black Rock Bike and talking to the knowledgeable staff, I felt a lot better. I have ridden regular bikes my entire life but wasn’t sure what to expect given that I know these things go fast! After a minute or two riding around the parking lot, my concerns went away. It felt like my regular bike but with a motor. I love that I had pedal assist to help me when I needed it. The Black Rock Bikes were very comfortable and the shocks and comfy seat were a nice touch!

We saw posts of Black Rock Bikes on Instagram which is what really motivated us to want to come to Maui. We have electric bikes here in Vancouver and love riding them as much as possible. We booked a Full-Day rental before we left to make sure we locked in a spot. The checkout was easy and seamless. We started at their shop in Whalers Village and rode them around Kaanapali, then up to the Coffee Farms where the panoramic ocean views are incredible! From there we rode to the lower highway where the cars don’t go so fast. We rode through Kahana and Napili and ended up in Kapalua which is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. The maps and recommendations were so valuable. We will be back with friends next time we come!

I’ve lived on island for 6 months and saw tourists enjoying themselves on Black Rock electric bikes everyday so thought I would try them out. Electric bikes are awesome! I never pedaled once, even when I went up hills. I look forward to riding with my friends and family when they come out to visit me.

We tried these out when we came for a wedding. There was a large group of us and we all had the “ride of our lives”! We rode everywhere over 2 days and saw everything on their recommended tours list and ate/drank at several places they recommended on their website. I appreciate the focus on safety and where to go and not to go. It made things a lot easier, especially with such a large group. Can’t wait to do this again!

We came to Maui on our honeymoon and saw people riding electric bikes by the Ritz Carlton where we were staying. The bikes looked so cool and the people we stopped said they were having a great time. We looked them up online and booked for a full day. We explored most of West Maui on these bikes and had a great time. We covered so much ground. It was much better than our convertible and not having to find parking was also a plus. We will be back with our family to show them the island this way.
